Among the must-complete are: Apply codes and standards to ethical practice; Interpret in general dialogue settings (LOTE-English); Interpret in general monologue settings (LOTE-English); Conduct oral communication in language other than English (Mandarin); Use routine education terminology in interpreting (LOTE-English); and Use routine legal terminology in interpreting (LOTE-English), among others.

Aside from the modules given, it is also important to know that to improve your skills and knowledge in this field, you may also take the NAATI Interpreter test. It is also known as the Credentialed Community Language (CCL) Test.

In this test, there is an expectation from NAATI that individuals and that includes you, to pass the said test. Once you pass the NAATI CCL exam you get to claim the so-called CCL points equivalent to five points.
